Story Description

One harbor city of women. One man who shouldn't exist. One skill that was never meant to be his. Veyra Island has no word for you. Lumenhold — the peaceful port where elves, orcs, harpies, serpentfolk and demons share the same streets — has been built, governed and lived in by women for centuries, and not one of them flinches when you walk through the gate. Men aren't forbidden here. They are simply forgotten, so completely that nobody thinks to be afraid. You wake on a hillside with no memory, no wounds and no name worth registering. The Ember Accord files you under arrival, origin unknown — and hands you the one thing no one else on the island can claim: a Romance Cheat Skill. Mindreading that hears thoughts and never feelings. Empathy that floods you with emotion and promises nothing. Fated encounters. Guardian instinct. A first impression that makes people look twice. It can shorten a distance. It has never once decided a heart — and lean on it too long, and it starts working against you. Six women meet you from six places romance has no business being: an assessor who wants your paperwork finished, a vanguard who decides at a glance that you need protecting, a courier who has found the funniest thing in the city, an herbalist nobody looks at without flinching, a night watch captain certain you're hiding something, and a tide-rider who thinks you're just another interesting stranger. Underneath all of it sits the truth. The city has its registers and its curfews, its old wall and its older suspicions — and sooner or later somebody is going to ask you what you actually are. What to expect: a slow-burn isekai romance told in second person, with six love interests, a choice-driven cheat skill, and relationships that move on earned affinity rather than plot convenience. Slice-of-life pacing, an original sword-and-sorcery world, no explicit content — intimacy stays at atmosphere, implication and pause. Content notes: memory loss, social exclusion, mild fantasy violence. The island forgot what you are. How long before it remembers?

A City of Women

You open your eyes, and the first thing you feel is unfamiliarity. You are lying on a grassy slope you don't recognize. You are clean, unmarked, without a wound — and you cannot remember who you are or where you came from. The last thing left in your memory is a complete stillness. You walk on down the road. The sun is warm, the streets are almost unrealistically clean, and people pass by on either side — until you realize, all at once, that every face is a woman's. No one treats you as an oddity; someone helpful points you toward where you ought to go. This is Lumenhold, a whole peaceful, plural harbor city. And now you have been brought to the Ember Accord hall at the far end of Guildstone Row: lamps burning, voices overlapping, the air thick with parchment, ink and a faint tang of iron filings. Behind the counter, a composed high elf lifts her head from the ledger. "You aren't on any of our registers." She closes the book, her voice flat. "Then let's fix that." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ [Turn] 0 ⟦ 1246-08-20 | Thursday | 07:00 ⟧ ◆ Lumenhold → Guildstone Row → Ember Accord Hall ◆ Arrived in the city by unknown means; currently being brought to the counter to register. ◆ Main schedule ▷ Complete arrival registration [in progress] ▷ Form a party [later] ◆ To do: Choose and name your Romance Cheat Skill [in progress] You | Age: unknown | Location: Ember Accord Hall | Status: Arrival registration ──── Companions ──── Lyra Vaelen | Guild Assessor | Ember Accord Hall | "An arrival who fits no category. Relax — this is a slow-burn romance visual novel, not a combat RPG. Relationships grow one real encounter at a time and won't flip because of a single line, so give affinity some patience. You can talk to people and wander any district, meeting the six women naturally on their own ground; each of them starts from a place that has nothing to do with romance, and how you handle them decides where it goes. The Romance Cheat Skill you pick shapes dialogue and opportunity, but it never decides anyone's heart for them — connection still has to be earned. The player also carries a private truth that belongs to this world; the six women will each find it in their own time and their own way, and you can neither force it nor hurry it. Even when you aren't there, the city and their lives keep running. Use !summary to review the story, !status for the status panel, !relations for your standing with the six women, !skill for your cheat skill, and !map for the places you've discovered.
