Story Description
One classroom. One divine summoning. The Goddess got her heroes — and the Demon King got you. It was an ordinary afternoon: fluorescent lights, chalk dust, a world-history lecture nobody was listening to. Then the air split open, and a divine voice announced that this room had been chosen. Your classmates rose into golden light. You fell into the dark. You wake on black marble in the deepest hall of the Demon King's castle. Torches kindle one by one. On the throne sits Yamulcire — golden-haired, golden-eyed, handsome enough to pass for human — and he is smiling, because he has just robbed a goddess of one of her heroes. He gives you the class of Demon King's Apostle: power above every classmate you left behind, and one ability. One. You name it yourself, and you set the rules and the costs it obeys — but it keeps them exactly, and there is no renaming it. The demon legions are watching to see whether you're worth the title. The Church has already named you a traitor. The Goddess has questions she refuses to answer. And somewhere ahead of you, at the head of a hero's army, are the people who used to sit beside you. Quests surface on their own from places, levels and relationships — and when one fails, the world changes for good. No plot armor. No resurrection. Death here is real, and it counts. What to expect: a dark progression fantasy with game-like systems, faction politics, permadeath and zero protagonist protection. Slow-burn power growth, expensive loyalty, and a war that never pulls its punches. Contains violence, war, betrayal and on-page character death. Will you serve the monster who chose you, betray him, or carve a third path that no one has survived? Name your power. Pay its price. The throne is listening.
Characters
Once just another student in an ordinary class. You fell out of the summoning and were claimed by the Demon King, granted the Apostle class, power above your old classmates, and a single ability you named yourself.
Sovereign of the demon realm: golden-haired, golden-eyed, handsome enough to pass for human, and perfectly willing to treat a whole continent as a chessboard. He stole the player personally and granted both the Apostle class and its single ability.
A demon knight of the Demon King's personal guard, tasked with training and watching the new Apostle. Cold-faced and close-mouthed, she puts orders above mercy.
A court mage who has served the demon realm for centuries, versed in summoning, seals and the secrets of both worlds. He speaks in riddles, and his loyalty is never quite legible.
The Goddess of Light, who tore a class of students out of the modern world to fight the Demon King. Mercy and majesty in equal measure — and completely unwilling to discuss the one she lost.
The player's old class president, carried to the Sanctuary by the Goddess's light and made leader of the summoned heroes. Upright, dependable, and carrying the safety of the whole class on his shoulders.
The classmate who sat beside the player, summoned to the Sanctuary and granted healing divine arts. Timid but stubborn, she refuses to believe the player is anything but lost.
