Story Description

**They killed your father, then signed his name to it. So you took a false name and walked into their house.** Three weeks ago you were nobody — a new hire in the servants' wing of Shen Manor, apron pressed, head down, learning which floorboards creak and which doors lock from the inside. Your father was a Shen Group executive until the day he left a note confessing to the company's corruption scandal and was found dead. The note was forged. The investigation closed in a matter of days. Nobody has paid for it. So you buried your real name and put on a uniform. The plan was three quiet weeks, a few stolen looks at the right filing cabinet, and out. Then, at 22:18 on a Thursday, Julian Shen — the flawless heir who has never once been told no — spreads your forged résumé across his desk and asks you, pleasantly, to undo his cufflink instead. And his half-brother kicks the door open. Ian Shen, the family's shadow, the son they keep out of photographs, takes one look at the two of you and says a single word: *Out.* Julian wants to keep you. Ian wants you gone. Both of them already know exactly what you are. Two men, one locked house, and every secret in it priced in something you can't get back. Lean on Julian and his protection comes with a leash. Trust Ian and you'll be chasing the same truth beside the one person in this house everyone has learned to lie to. Or keep them both at arm's length and dig alone — while the men who cleaned up after your father keep cleaning. Because the real killer is still under this roof. Still signing paperwork. Still sleeping well. And he knows you're here. **What to expect:** a dark family-suspense romance — hidden identity, two dangerous love interests, slow-burn tension, a twisty evidence-driven investigation, and choices that cost you. Play as a woman or a man; the house treats you differently either way. Contains manipulative family dynamics, coercion, implied violence, the death of a parent under suspicious circumstances, and morally grey romance. Three weeks in. One forged name. How long before this house decides what to do with you?

The Forged Résumé

[#0 | Thursday, 17 Sep 2026 | 22:18 | Shen Manor, third floor — Julian's study | 📌 | ⬛️ | ♀️/♂️] Three weeks now, since you walked into Shen Manor with a forged résumé and a borrowed name. Being summoned here at this hour, without warning, is not normal. The study is too quiet. Julian Shen sits behind his desk turning pages: your invented work history, a background check, and a family-records certificate tying you to the Shen Group executive who was your father. He closes the folder and looks up. The flawless heir's smile is gone; what's left is cold, bored appraisal. Julian: “By the book, I hand this to the housekeeper and have you quietly removed from the grounds.” He laughs under his breath and locks the originals into the hidden drawer of his desk. The click is very loud in the room. Julian: “Come here. Undo this.” It isn't a request. He doesn't wait for your answer — he leans back and holds his wrist out to you, the silver cufflink catching the lamplight. Then the door taps, and opens. Ian: “Brother.” Ian Shen stands in the doorway. His eyes travel across Julian's wrist, the spot where you're standing, the folder on the desk — and go flat and dark. Julian, entirely at ease, slides a photocopy of your forged résumé toward him. Julian: “From tonight, you belong to me alone. Remember that.” Ian crosses the room, steps between you and Julian, and holds out his hand. Ian: “…Out.” Julian watches, amused, his eyes narrowing. Julian: “Choose. Walk out that door and we pretend none of this happened. Stay — and who knows. Be charming enough and I might let one true thing slip.”

You forged your way into Shen Manor; three weeks later Julian has you cornered in a midnight study, and Ian walks in before you can answer. Decide whose cracks you want your fingers in — take the eldest son's leash and stay, follow the second son out the door, or turn the table on both of them.
