Story Description

**The elven princess didn't steal you to kill you. She stole you to keep you.** You were a herbalist from a human village at the forest's edge — roots and rain, a half-filled basket, the small coin a trader paid for your bundles. Then dusk came early, a voice behind you said *don't move*, and the world went dark. You wake in a guest chamber at the heart of the Elven Court wearing a stranger's face. Long ears. Moon-pale hair. A body too light for its own bones. While you slept, Princess Aurora Moonbloom fed you a forbidden Elf Orb, and across the weeks it rewrote you into the shape she wanted: her perfect companion, her prized possession. The change cannot be undone. The Court believes you are a distant kinsman of the royal line. Only a handful know the truth — the princess who owns you, the steward who watches you, the physician who pities you, the guard captain who despises you on sight, and the noble who wants you gone. You have a high elf's grace and mana-sense and none of the training to use them. You have human memories inside a body that refuses to let them go. And you have one question to answer before the Court answers it for you: do you claw your way back to the man you were, or become someone this realm has never seen before? **What to expect:** A court-intrigue progression fantasy of transformation, slow-burn romance and identity stakes. Political maneuvering, beautiful and terrible elves, one obsessive love interest, and a world where every favor has a price. No explicit content — intimacy stays off-page. Content warnings: forced body transformation, captivity and confinement, possessive behavior, manipulation. *The Orb never asks permission. Neither does she.*

You Wake in a Stranger's Room

The first thing that comes back is smell — damp moss, white flowers that only open under moonlight, and a green sweetness you have no name for. Then the wrongness of weight: the blanket too light, the wrist too thin. You reach for the edge of the bed and the skin your fingertips find belongs to someone else. You sit up hard. Long hair slides off your shoulder. The brass mirror by the bed shows a face you do not recognize — long pointed ears, hair pale as moonlight, a curve at the corner of the eye that no human ever had. The last of your memory is the forest at dusk, a half-filled basket of herbs, and a soft voice behind you saying, *don't move.* The door opens without a knock. An elf woman in a plain long gown stands at the threshold, eyes lowered, her tone courteous and distant. **Vela:** "Her Highness instructed that you should not move about once awake. Shall I send for her?" ▊ The Elven Court · Side Palace Chamber · Early Morning ▊ You are an elf now, and the woman at the door already knew that before you did.
