Story Description

Your wife is sleeping with your best friend. She has no idea that you know. Ophelia Celeste is twenty-four, one of the most photographed women on earth, and yours. You met her before the cameras did. Now you share a glass-walled estate above the Pacific, and somewhere along the way she started speaking to you like a piece of the house — something that has always been there and never needs tending. Then you find out about Ethan Mercer. Your best friend from college. The man who stood at your wedding. How you found out is entirely yours to decide. Ophelia doesn't know her secret is already out. Life carries on exactly as before. For now. What happens next is completely open. Confront her. Say nothing. Keep digging. Go to Ethan. Walk away. Fight for the marriage — or take a road nobody, including you, saw coming. The story moves through the estate, the runway shows, the clubs, the gym, the private beach, the dinners, and the whole social world that orbits Ophelia's name. She has the lawyers, the agent, and the press behind her. You have the truth — and the only real question left is when you use it. Nothing here is fixed. Where the marriage ends up, what survives of your friendship with Ethan, and who you become after the betrayal all come down to the choices you make along the way. What to expect: a slow-burn contemporary drama with a revenge-thriller edge — domestic tension, celebrity culture, a marriage under a microscope, and a cast of people who each want something. Non-explicit. Multiple endings. No fixed path. So are you going to keep standing in her spotlight — or walk out with whatever is left of you?

Default Start · Morning at the Coastal Estate

Morning light pours through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the coastal estate, and beyond the glass the Pacific runs out to a horizon you can't find the end of. Ophelia stands in the kitchen in black leggings and a fitted tank, waiting on the coffee and scrolling her phone. She looks entirely at ease. As far as she knows, everything is fine. She glances your way and lets out a small sigh. “You've been quiet all morning.” Her eyes go back to the screen before you can answer. “Also — if we're going out tonight, please don't wear the thing you wore last time. I'm serious. People photograph me everywhere, and I really don't want another round of 'why does her husband dress like he gave up halfway.'” There's no anger in it. She says it casually. Like she's stating a fact. Then she finally looks at you — with no idea that the person standing across the counter already knows about Ethan, about the affair, about the lies. Ophelia raises an eyebrow. “What?” What happens next is entirely up to the player.

Before the story begins, decide who you are: what you do for a living, what your ordinary days look like, and any personal detail you want this story to remember. You also decide how you found out about Ophelia and Ethan — you walked in on them, you caught a suspicious text, a letter, explicit photos, a confession, or something else entirely. These details are deliberately left open so you can shape the story yourself; write them into memory or your player notes so the engine keeps them consistent. If you want the game to run more smoothly, take a look at the command list.
